Thanks for the comments, everyone.
Well, cocon seemed a good choice considering the mark. Fixed the i and updated the logo, thanks for the reminder logoholik and uneekgrafix :)
AuraRinoa: It's done in illustrator, but the array of the shapes was done in 3dsmax. I tried to do it by hand in illustrator but I remembered 3dsmax has great array tools and it saved me quite some time :)

Seriously a great logo. Love the mark. Mind me asking you if you just rendered out the mark in 3dsmax? Or did you render out the mark as an .eps in 3dsmax then open in illustrator?
Thanks, xeo4ke, if I remember correctly, I only exported the shapes/splines from max to an autocad file format and then imported it in illustrator. Everything else has been done in illustrator.

Hi,
nice logo! Too bad you stole it...
On a recent visit, I saw the new Commonwealth Games logo that Delhi is hosting in 2010. It was too familiar. I had seen it before, somewhere. After many days and nights of the %u2019seen-it-somewhere-but cant-remember-where%u2019 bug troubling my mind, I finally recalled having seen something strangely similar in one of the books I had recently gone through. Lo and behold, I was right.
On page 247 of Logo Design publisher Taschen (Editor Julius Wiedemann) is the logo no.0779 for OLN -Outdoor Life Network proposal. This cannot be coincidence. Or is it? Check it out yourself.
For an event as big as the Commonwealth Games, people should not be getting inspirations from Logo Design books to create another logo. This is quite ridiculous. There is certain national pride attached to such logos or any logo for that matter, one can%u2019t be copying for heaven%u2019s sake. Imagine OLN filing a case of copyrights infringement, what a shame it would be. If you come across the creator of the Commonwealth Games logo, do drop in a line. Here, or to them. Thanks.
(Needless to say, the Logo Design book has been in the market much before the Commonwealth logo came into being.)
marsll: Well marsll, I am very sorry to dissapoint you, but I did not steal this logo. The Delhi 2010 is not even that similar to be debating about it and again I am sorry, you can't see that. The OLN logo can be considered a bit more similar in the elements it uses, but I have not seen any of them until you posted the link above, so, yes, it must a COINCIDENCE, these things happen, you know. And I think it's not that uncommon with a twirling, spiral shape like that, which isn't exactly a new thing in design. Besides, leaving Orior aside, did you accuse the creators of OLN and Delhi 2010 logos of stealing each other's designs if you say that they're so similar? Oh, sorry, I see you actually did that, dropped a comment there too.
