unfortunately i think this logo will only work if you write the name below it.

It's an awesome logo, but maybe slightly too abstract to clearly see the letters unless you know what you're looking for.

maybe also take a closer look at the join between the c and s, seems that its just slightly off and the gentle curve has a bit of a kink.

the one between the s and a is much smoother.

Not all logos are designed with text and when used in context they are obviously for a specific client. This logo was designed and used nearly 30 years ago and was created when I was college student. It was drawn by hand at that time using a rapidiograph pen. As I was not responsible for applications of the design, with text, I did not include the name.
