The mark is really nice, but a bit on the heavy side with the black. I would choose an actual color to help lighten it up a little. As for the font, I think the ornateness of the mark would work better with a serif font.

it has an interesting look. you may want to address some alignment issues. at the moment, the mark is about 5-7px to the left.
