very elegant.

one suggestion i may have for you is, "financial group" is positioned very tightly, i suggest making it smaller and increasing the kerning. this way it will be legible through any logo size or any printing method.

Blown up I love this, but when it is seen shrunk down, there is something about it I don't like, I suppose some of the detail you have on the animal icon get's lost, then I only see the shape, which starts looking like the end of a dentist pick, or the top of an "S" neither of which help reinforce what the identity of the company is.
