Woah. Very similar to Nettwerk Records' logo. Not to say you copied. I suppose a compass inspired logo is common for the N abbreviation.

this mark was designed in 1999 for a consortium of leading schools (the navigator consortium - navcon). it utilises a fairly common symbol that of a compass and the cardinal point for north to signify direction and leadership.

i have since seen the nettwerk records logo before.. though i have no idea what an n in a circle with an arrow above it has to do with a record label named 'nettwerk'.. but obviously they think it works. ;)

Yes, I would agree that symbolically your logo makes much more sense than Nettwerk's. Not to mention it's prettier.
