Nice. Have you tried softening the M's so it looks less like a cat?

OcularInk said on Apr. 15 '09

Clever one, Doug. I agree with Roy's comment above. In addition, it looks like the type below the mark is not quite black. I think that should be black too...hope you don't mind my nit-picky-ness. Good job.

smartinup said on Apr. 15 '09

thanks guys, will def mess around with both your thoughts. the grey type is a mistake but i never mind your nit-picky-ness. I would really like to incorporate the bottom negative space more with the mutt, but i dont like two different m's. we shall see i suppose, ha, thanks again.

This is a classic logo - one for the logo history books.

firebrand said on Apr. 17 '09

I wonder if the M's should be the same depth. Nah, looks great as it is Doug. Top dog!

This is an excellent use of white space. Kudos.

LOGOMOTIVE said on Apr. 28 '09

I like the way it looks like a collar around the Mutt. Nice job Doug.

logomotive said on Apr. 28 '09

One little suggestion. have you tried bringing the top M down to the green m eliminating the horizontal line? This would allow the background to be one M and the dogs lower portion to be the other working equally effective in one color. Not sure but I think it might work?

Great concept.

smartinup said on Apr. 29 '09

thank you all very much much for taking the time to comment. Logomotive, im really glad you saw the white space as a collar, as to your other suggestion, will def take a look at that for my own version of this, i had not played around with eliminating it all together. again, thanks LP'rs!
