Really nice idea, but that pinkie finger is bothering me a lot. It looks like it is not part of the hand (proportionally).

really cool concept cake_sama, maybe not highlight the fingernails? it makes the hand look sinister, like they are claws. agree with the pinky, looks too long. still nice job :)

move the pinky up a little and to the left then thicken it up just a tad and it should be fine as frog's hair!

A lot better. How about to have a finger like it is touching something. Forefinger pointing straight up, and not to have it bent.

This is cool, but I would like to see a few sand particles around the lump... which I think would help it a lot.

Really nice idea, hand fingers look a little off. Maybe it might be easier to find a different hand photo that would work better as a silouette rather than trying to fix the fingers in this one.

Actually on second thoughts the hand is pretty close maybe just listen to Trish. The shape that the hand forms is pretty equisite.

Love where your taking this...what would be really cool is to use the different colors of sand(max 3) to sell the concept, this would also soften the harshness of the shape.

Brilliant concept. However, I thought it was a wine glass fist (before I saw the title).

What do you think of having the bottom part as an egg timer? I know maybe that's what it's based on, but the sand at the bottom would be a perfect triangle.

I don't know how it would work, but you could try making the hand the top part of the timer then.
