You may be right. I made it like that cause I wanted to retain the shape of the original tail as far as possible.

It's more balanced with the tail.
The shaft should have a slight curve to it.

I would have to disagree with you icu, Art Machine's is definitely more creative and has better execution. he actually manipulated the mark and type. the logo you linked to has text added (text that doesn't really make sense) and that's about it.

Ah guys... you are not funny ... no one got the joke (except minosundara ;-).

I know that you cant compare the stuff I found on the net with the work of AM, that was not the sense of this joke.

I tought it would be funny to have a fake "this has been done" link showing something else, since of course nobody is going to say "hey dude, this is puma"
