Yeah, I was proberbly too kind(and naive) to the kid, but thank god that I've learned from the experience. Never send anything to a client before the payment or having some sort of contract.

^I agree. Although I always find it strange when you get the "walkers" every once in a while even after the 50% up-front...they make half the payment and then you never hear from them again.

It's actually the only time, that I've got hosed. Had a great talk going on with the poser. I was in a hurry and stupid enough to just send the files before having money in the bank. Now, I have me papers in order and always ask for 50% up front, before any files leave my machine. Alen had a good point; no pay, no play.
