Very nice but I would make Amman DC all one color, the dark colour, as DC stands out but Amman does not.
I would bring the words closer to the graphic. Very nice graphic, not overdone, well done.

OMNI, I don't think you needed the gradient with this one. When you are dealing with images that are meant to be organic, to me, it seems a gradient gives it a harsh, techy feel. Overall, I like what you've done...just think it would have worked better without the gradient.

Interesting points, thanks. The black DC was to emphasize the "diplomatic city" point, cause Amman is a common name inside the city of Amman so we wanted to add the special particularity in this name. The distance on the logo was thought trying to make an elegant mark. And the gradation also serves this point. Though the gradation is not done in all applications, like for example in engravings.

I didn't see the dove until it was explained. You might need to push the dove element a bit more. Otherwise, very nice.

same here, i think the gradient drew my eye towards the leaves constantly so they never did register that the 'branch' was forming a dove and the leaves the wings.

i jsut got up mid comment to get a glass of water and looking at from across the room it looks like a bird, up close looks like leaves, so i guess you nailed it.

sorry, i don't know how you miss the dove. its there, perfectly subtle. seriously great execution. colors are subjective to final application - so the design is perfect really.

Great logo. It is very obvious with the dove and branch/leaves - excellent. Amman needs it I think :)

very nice to see some of Etienne's work here on the gallery. IMHO one of the best logo designers on the pond. When i need motivation his showcase is always one of a few that i visit and I always come way thinking thats why I'm in this game.

As for the logo... beautiful mark!

I'm wondering if it's because of this recent entry into the gallery: http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/19734 That would be my guess. However, I think each design stands on their own and see no problem with having both in the gallery. Love your work, Etienne.
