caught my eye but the shape (round) does not look much like a roach at all. perhaps you could have used more of the center shapes (oblong) and left outside globe round, to define the roach.

I completly agree with Mike. This logo definitely grabbed my attention, but I wish it was a little more recognizable as a roach. I like your choice of green. Not too shabby.

I see your point there and i guess that you are probably right to some point. I wanted to give just a hint of roach/crawling thingy and not to make it too obvious. Went for symbolic/abstract approach here...

I like the symbolic approach you've taken with mark I dont think it needs to be exactly obvious, if anything I would make the legs a bit more longer and leave the centre piece alone. As for the dax, nice font, but I think the character spacing is little to tight, good work thought.

The symbol is great as-is, doesn't have to resemble a roach exactly, besides, how else could you do the globe if not circular, remember, it's a mix of two things so both can't resemble the real thing. Great logo.

I like the symbol. But, I think Global should be the same weight since both sides of the roach are.

Thanks a bunch! Regarding light/bold you are probably right. i've decided to go this route mainly because of the b/w usage, where that separation makes sense...
