I agree...at first I could barely see the 'h' and 's' and the eagle not at all. However, I think you have created an engaging logo that keeps the viewer wanting to know more about it. This makes for great branding.
I do see both symbolisms now, but they may be a little far fetched to the untrained eye. Even so, nice job as usual.

hell i have a trained eye and i totally missed the eagle until he said it, very nice job, i still dont see the s though, is it the negative space?

David, I think it's supposed to be an 's' that has been cut off at the top right and bottom left. Now that I look at this more, the eagle seems more recognizable than the letter forms all together. I still think you did a nice job, though.

I tried to figure out what this could mean and my optoins were: kitchenware, tools (like a hammerhead like stuff)
I don't see the eagle at all.

For me, once you see the eagle head, the h s relation isn't easy to see. I always see the eagle head now when looking upon the logo but while designing it was the letters that were visually dominating the composition. Rather interesting actually now that I think about it.

it's a very elegant mark, sensual curves.. great craftsmanship.
i think it misses in conveying the intended letter combinations....
very ambitious, though.

I also think it misses to convey those initials. I don't see an eagle's head, just its beak, and btw, why the eagle? And why the space between the top and bottom curves? I for one think logos should be strong in communicating their message, not ambiguous, unless the ambiguity of it is communicating an essential, core characteristic of the company, institution, etc.

I saw the h & s but I could stare at it all day and never see an eagle head without it being totally forced.

Looks cool. I can kind of see the letters, but the eagle seems to far for me. It has nice look, but that shouldn't be all.

problem is that is a falcon head, not an eagle. there is a difference. sorry. pet peeve. (wrong animal, wrong environment, etc.)

love it otherwise. I prefer falcons. eagles are so over rated.
