I think i'm going to start a thread in the forum about these types of logos, Colin and I have had 'heated debates' about the thick font skinny font usage. I want to know what you all think. When and where does it work, or is it just too easy...
And what would the discussion be about? I'm tasting a little bit of displeasure about those logo's while I'm not sure about the fact of what could be wrong with those. Please explain, I'm curious (and I'd like to learn something).

On my pont of view, and some fellow coworkers, when you use a thick and thin typeface on the logotype it's because one word is more important than the other, that's it. Lets say, when you're doing a bank, you'd put the name in bold and the descriptive word (in this case "bank") in roman or light.
