Yes, the mark is great design wise...but I really think your clients will be pleased to have a such a self-explanatory mark. I wouldn't normally think that ("hey! that doesn't show that we make glass showcases for restaurants!"), but in this case, it's perfect for advertising in newspapers like most movie theaters do.

I saw a knock-off of this idea from Coca-Cola on a large movie poster in Thailand. They used the exact same design but film wrapped around a bottle of coke.
