looks a lot better here than on the site ;) i can only image what you went through seeing how it was used on the site.

Yeah, I agree with David. This one works so much better than the website version. My only complaint is the record image. I wish it had been a perfect circle. Right now it looks more like an oval.Nice colors, nice type, nice job!

good work..

Thanks guys! As a matter-of-fact I've tried perfectly rounded one, but this one gave me that little imperfection feel to it, so I decided to go with it ... sometimes perfect geometry gives you that cold tone, I didn't want this one to have that :) now, it has a little southpark atmosphere attached to it, huh? :)

like the symbol, like the type, the scale of the two seems a bit competing as it is.

id rather see a perfect cicrle for the record - i mean, when have you ever seen an elliptica vinyl? it doesnt work - headphones on the other hand look superb!

bpotstra said on Nov. 25 '06

also, your tex (i think thats Dax) is too tightly kerned. i think it just needs a bit more breathing room.

My point exactly. Even so, I still think it's nice. Some people might get the impression that it has been stretched. Maybe that's just me.

logoholik said on Nov. 26 '06

:) well can you imagine what halfspinned/rotated record look like (y axis)? sometimes it doesn't have to be all in perfect place, and i think i liked that stretched look, dunno. As for the tight spacing - well i guess it is a matter of preference - i always prefer to set this type of logos like that... Thanks for comments!

Congrats, Bojan. I wanted to send in my works as well but they closed down before their official deadline. Not very nice.
