@ pbhj: it's not a "company" per se but an apartment complex. And three humps make an M. Two humps make an N. Say it with me. But at a glance, I see what you're saying. Helps that Camino is a common enough word around these parts (with the hispanic influence) that for the market it is legible.
As for the coffee comments... maybe not a bad thing since they wanted a mark that broke typical ground for apartments and evoked more of a casual feel. The final has the text "apartments" under the script.
