Adding gloss and plastic effects won't make a bad logo look good.

I hate to be harsh, here, but this logo doesn't actually communicate anything. A logo is supposed to be iconographic of something; it's meant to be a symbol for a message or idea. Right now, the only message I'm getting from this is that you like to make things shiny.

Certainly the blue and green arrows are cool and they interact with each other well, but what do thy have to do with white squid? What is white squid? Really terrible fond as well. Those cool arrows are perfect for someone, just not white squid.
