Thanks for the feedback friends (and alex ;) I think the client would rather see the 9 in the conventional position, at the end.

I read mobile 9, but it could be a little confusing. That lowercase 'b' could work as a '9' also. Does that strike any ideas?

I definitely prefer this to v2. I feel like it reads "9mobile" though because I think the bright green stands out a bit too much. I think if you played with the colors to make the "mobile" stand out more than the 9 this would work better. Too bad the client would like something more conventional because this is a pretty nice design.
