Nice. I love the movement the logo evokes. It's very captivating.

excelent graphic, it makes you to look nicely at it...

radrew said on Nov. 09 '06

very nice, only thing I'd suggest is removing the vertical line

Sisudesigns said on Nov. 09 '06

radrew is right either the thickness of the line is changed or its removed. its a unnecessary element

jawsy said on Nov. 15 '06

I like the suttle feel of the logo. Although i suspect that it would loose its quality on a white background due to the white tints already used in the shape.

Overal great design

AenTan said on Nov. 20 '06

The line could be there, or could not. Very nice colors.

vinecreative said on Nov. 20 '06

very nice. If you must have the white line i would play around with it more, like spacing between the elements, or the height of it , etc.
anyway sweet icon

very nice to look at

excellent logo. I don't mind the line. It may feel empty without it.

I'm really getting tired of seeing all of these link references to similar marks. I can't say much because I have done this before, but I have stopped. There's no telling whether or not grafikonline has ever seen that logo before or not. My guess would be that he hasn't...unless for some reason it got stored subconsciously in his memory.

I apologize to anyone that I have done this to in the past, but can we all refrain from doing this in the future? It's just not fair to the designer. I don't think any of us talented ones (not to try and put myself in that category) would intentionally rip a logo. And besides, each logo uses different shapes, use of color, fonts/type, and layout. Only the gradient effect is similar.

Not trying to jack the thread, just trying to make a point. With that said, back on topic.

I still love this one!!

I like the logo, I have accidently done it before too. But I saw it on another store front subconciously. It pissed me off so much that I dont show logos to a client before I do a dipstick test on like 30 people now.

As for the two logos, they dont look similar enough, and the concept is neither his nor the gabriel resources anyways its that guy Escher. If anything its homage to escher.

The colors and type make it his.

Very nice. Usually I'm against gradients but in this case they fit very well!

I'm sorry but I find it very very similar to this one:

Why do we need that vertical hairline?

OMNI said on Nov. 28 '06

Nice logo. Just needs refining: smoother gradations (so it doesn't look like the gradations end abruptly) and a bit more saturated colors on the shades of the light blue and green (more like the shade on the bottom blue because they look too grayish). And I'd take out the hairline, you don't need it, it's just adding something that doesn't have a purpose. When you add a line dividing the symbol from the logotype it's because either there's more text than usual in the logotype or the symbol is more complex, or both; and the line shouldn't be that thin.

CreativeGuy said on Nov. 29 '06

I would like to see the line removed, I don't think it's necessary. I would also like to see this logo on a white background.

That being said, it's very nice. I like that you chose a simple sans-serif font to go with the mark.

grafikonline said on Nov. 29 '06

Thank you all for the comments, but this logo is created several years ago and it is actively used ever since, therefore changes are not planned. You can have a look at the logo on white background on aramova.com.

very nice symbol, not so unique with the shape but unique with the use of colors.

my only problem with it is with typography, the kerning is not set right. the spacing between the first 3 letters ( ARA ) seems longer than the next 3 (MOV) ... it's a battle of negative spaces.

Anagoge said on Jan. 26 '07

So smooth. Great colours. It makes me want to touch it.

Woolmark, anyone? :)
No offence, of course.

I like it, but it´s too similar to the norwegian logo NHO. www.nho.no

Very elegant. Nice to look at - especially on a black background. I too tend avoid gradients (gotta get out of my ruts!)... and see the 'white background' potential concern. The vertical line is a nice unifier. I looked at all of the links posted - so what? Is there really anything 'new under the sun'? really? Isn't that what this business is all about? Borrow. Diffuse. Modify. That's reality. We do it without even realizing it. One thing - It would be nice to know what ARAMOVA did so as to understand the relevance of the symbol. Just the thoughts of a discussion thread newbie.

b3nder said on Mar. 15 '07

I tend to avoid gradients too. I like the way that they look but they can be hard to imitate if the client wants a logo on a t-shirt for example or emboidered on a hat. I really like the look of this mark and dont think it has any relationship to the links above. Well done!

Great logo and colors!

What is doing the line there?

scary owl said on Jul. 25 '07

Thought you might like to know - somebody has seriously ripped your logo off! Check it out...

admarcbart said on Jul. 25 '07

Damn...that one is bad. ;(

grafikonline said on Jul. 30 '07

Thank you scary owl. Yes, it is 100% ripoff. I overlapped it over Aramova and it is exactly the same, including vertical line distance.

Gelbdesign said on Aug. 24 '07

Professional - fine Work!

leorosaborges said on Aug. 28 '07

When you came up with this shape, you didn't expect it to be unique, right?

grafikonline said on Aug. 30 '07

re: leorosaborges - Absolutely no, but I didn't expect someone will rip it off completely neither. It is not about uniqueness of the shape. The logo mentioned above is exact copy of my logo, not a creative coincidence.

moverdrive said on Sep. 23 '07

Frightening. The rip off is awful. You've made a great mark here by attention to detail, especially in color choice. Victory goes to you...

yyd said on Jul. 06 '09

I like it,it is so beautiful and makes me think more. From China.

topelovely said on Nov. 08 '09

Who owns the original idea of this logo? Please check this site http://www.infinitytv.info/ . The same logo just a change of color.
Someone needs to call a lawyer immediately!

matto said on Nov. 08 '09

@topelovely, look at the year of this site copyright, and the year when submitted this logo to logopond, and I think that "InfinityTV" has stolen this logo from here, because the quality of logo in the "InfinityTV" is not very good.

logoholik said on Nov. 09 '09

Very shady indeed... that vive logo at the bottom also feels familiar... hmm...

grafikonline said on Nov. 09 '09

And yet another one... Aramova is made on 2004 and so far I know for 10 or so ripoffs, and about 4-5 exact, 1:1 copies.

Michigan Web said on Dec. 27 '09

Come on... Not every logo is original? I think it looks good.

ClimaxDesigns said on Apr. 29 '10

I actually whole heartedly disagree with you on this one Ock i think people should post similar logos, this posting didn't say that he ripped the other guy or vise versa it simply makes people aware of other similar works, I've seen this very design /shape at least 10 or 15 times on this very site in various forms.

As long as the linkage is not malicious in nature I have no problem with it, if anything users should stop assuming that the link means that they are being blamed for ripping off a design and not simply being notified that there is something similar out there.

richardbaird said on May. 17 '10

I have seen a lot of these folding triangles, so my take on it is as an entirety it's different due to its relationship with the word and use of the vertical line. But it's really up to the client to decide whether they are happy using a popular graphic, it might be distinctive enough within their particular industry to be an effective mark.

cleomardagostim said on Sep. 27 '11

Olhem e digam se isso é coincidência ou se os caras da editora online copiaram o logotipo! Alguem copiou de alguem, disso não tenho duvidas: www.editoraonline.com.br
