i'm really digging this concept penflare, but the legs look odd (around the heel maybe). would he look more dynamic with his legs extended, in the mid jump pose?

man i looked at a billion kangaroo images.. didnt really like the way i drew the legs extended.. :) this will have to do for now haha

Nice idea.

If you fix the kerning between 'e' and 'd' and make the foot thinner and slightly longer, this will be g-roo-vy!

the heel is much better, but yes i think the foot should be thinner still. Their feet are amazing. Infact the whole kangaroo is awesome to watch. Fantastic balance.

I have to agree about the new foot ... i think the foot needs to be thinner in the middle and then slightly tear drops at the end to accentuate the toes.

As much as I love orange, and the increasing trend to use it, do you think it will become dated and seen as a hallmark of the early to mid 2000's?

@logodesignguru - no i dont think it will become dated.. if orange does so, the logo looks good in any other color and shrunken down along with black and white. thanks!

@ Logo Design Guru : Even so, penflare chose an appropriate color for this logo. Orange is a high energy color and fits the brief. So, even if a color can become dated, it's appropriate in this instance and will always be appropriate. ;-)

I think what is throwing it off is that your angles around the arms are soft and have a touch of curve in them, and then the leg is more direct, less smooth. The ears/lightingbolt/? makes me think of a jackalope, though.
