I'm favoring this one and your concepts with the mountains. This one looks like a hospital logo (which could be good or bad), but I do like the inclusion of mountains in your other concept.

instead of crossword puzzles, how about a book filled with mazes and the squared logo above could be the center spot in every maze:)

Hmmm...didn't see crossword until you guys mentioned it. Intended to be four overlapping arrows pointing in to the center med symbol. But I'll go with Fire's justification!
