Good to see nice brands in a sea of crappy logotypes. I wonder WHY great corporations take some design agencies more based of their fame then it's work

This is brilliant, but probably too subtle for most as clashmore said. I would bet it will read better reversed. Try a stripe of color behind it the same height as the letters, but with a slightly different color hue for "i". Just a thought.
does ft have anything to do with fit here? logos like these are great; other logo designers obviously pick up on these quickly and love the cleverness, but the general public, I feel not so much. Most people don't even know of the arrow in FedEx, so do you think they'll really see and read this as fit, whether it's the 2nd,3rd, or 100th time looking at it, instead of the US abbreviation for feet, ft? Maybe if you told us what subject matter the concept was for, it would help.
