If you are going to use a dot in the center, what about putting a door under the dot to highlight an "i"? I like your concept.

Those shapes are something "classic". the "nice thing" about this logo is to make a good use of lines created by shapes to create the shape of a home.
The central spot not only rapresent the epicentre of the shapes and vortex, but it gives idea of "staing home" and "found/target reached"
