Why did this get a gallery spot? There's so many better logo's in the pond that deserve a spot over this. I don't get it!

The logo looks nice and has character, but it's just a complete made up logo. Humour me people!

we have a saying in my country that says ¨Create fame and then go to bed¨ once certain artists have a certain track record its easier for their work to be seen and considered, thats all, dont be mad

I'm not mad. I'm just scratching my head. I certainly don't disagree that Logoholik has a brilliant folio. But sometimes these logos sneak through that just don't belong in the gallery. That's all.

i think i have to agree with c4creative on this one. Clean type, yes, cute little star, yes, nice colours yes. Does one have to take into account the posting of the larger star on IncSpring to fully appreciate this?
Don't get me wrong, its real nice and potentially an awesome brand.

So, the only 'fault' of this logo is that it is completely made up? I mean brainstorming new idea, coming up with unique name and available domain, implementing matching mark and custom(ized :) ) typography seems like something worth putting in portfolio. If it get recognized - even better :)
Cheers people! btw, you do not have to leave pond to see larger version of mark which is designed so it can stand alone over time...

Maybe saying that it is made up is the wrong way to put. To me there is no substance behind the logo. I personally like seeing logos with a brief/rationale and then being able to make up my mind to see whether I think it has fulfilled the brief or not.

Anyone can create a logo for anything, that's easy. But being able to create a logo that meets a clients needs plus more is something else, that's what set's good logos apart from others.

And i'm sorry, but I put this logo in the 'other' category.

@CHNG! It is not good enough for anyone to rest on their reputation. Once you do this, you fall behind.

Agree with c4 I'm afraid. Designing for yourself/to your own brief is just about the easiest thing to do in this industry.

while getting to create a made-up name/mark has it's windows, it still takes effort to open them.

Clean, love the font choice, and the star fits in nicely. It could be tilted a little to the right, but thats just my style when creating logos. It looks great nonetheless! The logo could be better if it described what the company did in though :)
