Love this, it reminds me of the Mexico '68 logo. This is timeless and effortlessly good.

Didn't see it with the shadow, but I can imagine it wouldn't be as great as it is now.

You know, looking at this smaller, I focused in on the diagonals of the Z. The spacing doesn't feel quite right. The space between the two outside lines going diagonal feels perfect, but then all the ones further in feel tighter. I'd probably play with tweaking it a little to see what happens.
