very nice logo. I think "hr" might be a bit too bold. I think it takes away from the great mark. You probably didn't name it, but I'm getting tired of everything being "something-pod" or "pod-something".
KGB, yeah, I agree on the pod name. This mark is from early 2005 and it wasn't my choice on the name. :-)
As for heavier HR, you might have a point. I played with various weights there, but in the end felt the bolder emphasized HR a little better, since that was the emphasiz point of the mark.
Ocularink, thanks for the note. Never heard of Duke Construction until tonight.
I'd say the two marks have only a faint resemblance when compared â both use 3 leaves.
Colors are different, the hrpod mark forms a person with the 3rd top leaf having a head reversing out of it and the Duke logo doesn't. The fonts are also quite different (sans serif vs. serif).
Great logo, 4 stars. The mark is great. My crit is the huge HR as well. There is just such a difference between the HR and the POD that it feels disjointed. The mark is gorgeous, but the typeface detracts from it.
thanks biohaz. I think I'm going to play with a less bold version and see how that compares. When it's up here I'll link to it so you guys can have a look.
