I like it, but I think that maybe the type runs together too much? Maybe you could break it up some how? I can't really put my finger on it, but my eye goes directly to the word history first and then to the bird and then back to the top. Maybe you could break it up with a change of color in the type? Still a great design, though!

Great logo, 4 stars. I love the old tyme feel of the font and mark, very original design. There could be some more vertical space between the lines however. It seems very tight, and probably would be harder to read the more it was reduced. A little space and I'd give this a 5.

This is really nice. It's got the character and distinction of a real wood carving. It feels just slightly leaned to the right which adds to the effect so much more. Real authentic. It seems as if you paid enough attention to add character to each letter form too. It a real hang-up of mine but I hate when I see a logo with a distressed typeface and all of the E's and N's look exactly alike. Nice work.
