It's cool... I appreciate it, especially because I saw you did some 'hotel' logos to. :) Client had some restrictions when ordering design (I hate this kind of projects). I was told to avoid most of the 'usual' symbols (like clouds) and to make it as much simple as it gets...

just weird association came to mind ... is all with what came to mind was like calling a kids sweet cocaine - thus initially negative to me ....

Gates should be open. It's hotel, not cemetery. This logo don't invite me. It looks rather like for an old mansion which is closed and hidden. Not for visitors, or rather only for a few special ones... There is nothing like "Come. You'll feel like in heaven!" in it.

I see there also heads (halos?) on spears...

So, it's nice looking logo but it won't work well, I think.
