it's pretty, but not a logo. The bridge and building would be lost in most applications. If they aren't important, take them out.

I wouldn't say that it wasn't a logo. It is a logo, it just has kinks to iron out, like it's scalability (it's ability to be reduced and enlarged).
Any image can be a logo, whether it's a good logo or a bad logo is another story...(I am not implying that this logo is the latter. I think it is massively good.)
Anyway, I do agree KGB - remove the elements that are not important.

I might worry slightly about a reduced version of this logo, but you can't help but love it, it's fun and just a really well done logo.
