I love how vivid the colors are. The type is nice too. Regarding what Brian (KGB) said, the 'I' might be just a hair to tall. Typically, the curves on your 'N', 'O', and 'A' would be slightly taller than the 'I'. Did you try matching the 'I' to the height of the 'V' and 'Z'? Even so, we're just being nit-picky. Most people would never even notice. Good work, dude. :-)
Thanks very much for the comments guys. Nicely observed Brian and Kevin, thanks. I've spent the last couple of minutes trying to upload a version with the shorter 'i', I cant really tell a differance when its up here. I updated the version on my site, looks well improved. Thanks for the constructive crits and support!
dache you having problems updating a logo, if so - you shouldn't have to - but try changing the name and uploading in the edit section. have to eye that section again in a few weeks after everything calms down.
Nice dache. You seem to favour multiple colours in your logos which all look fantastic, but what do you do when the client wants it printed across a range of products? That many colours printed in process must give you some grief??
Hey David, yes Ive tried changing the file name a couple of times and then uploading. I will try again later on after a proper reboot. Thanks very much for placing this in the gallery.
Marc, thanks for your comments. I can understand where you are coming from as the image above has multiple colors. It is the online version of the logo which is fitting as this is uploaded to a site. There is never any grief at all in the printing process as all of my visual identities exist in versions which are print friendly. It is a question of planning in the creative process. I am going to write a bit more on this topic on the "dacheboard":http://www.dache.ch/index.php/dacheboard/ in a few days.
i really don't know what all the hub bub is about using colors , as dache said you need to plan for that per project brief and yes i know all too well about different printers and having colors come out the same across printers yadda yadda, but you have to be looking for color differences to spot something like that pantone wise or cmyk across printers, usually if you use the same printer for all the materials,m which most people do unless its oversized or something cmyk is fine to print it, i think we are stuck in our college school days for the proff saying pantones are the way to go yadda yadda and don't get me wrong they are if you are looking for color precision, but f the client isn't interested in that and you have talked to them and explained what could happen may happen etc i don't see the problem with having a logo full color with a wide range of color being reproduced in cmyk. budget restrictions etc all have to be taken into consideration.
I've heard all the augments both side I've worked in print for the better part of 11 years, i have worked with and in a print shot with Heidelberg presses 2 to 6 color presses and i've seen the results and heard the accounts rubbing their hands together when pantone jobs come in vs cmky jobs i'm just not sold on how much a difference it make to the layperson on the street who could careless. Not saying that you shouldn't strive for the best quality or anything like that, i'm just saying that we all need to take a step back and look at a job for what it is not what 'it's supposed to be'.

I wish there was way to deal with the spammers on our own content like other communities allow.
