yeah but even so you can visually fix that by increasing the kerning on the NI,I don't think he was saying it was off, I believe he is saying as I am that you need to purposefully make it off to counteract the illusion of the QO

Hate to be the negative Nancy on this, but it doesn't feel like a logo for a candy/lollipop company. Shouldn't it be more playful? It's a great logo, just doesn't seem like the right fit for the company.

Yeah I agree a bit, but i think if its for a the corporate part of the company then its a nice fit , but i do understand what you mean about it being playless, although, it could be a contemporary candy shop appealing o a more mature crowd which is what i saw and loved about it on first look.

@ClimaxDesigns / gthobbs : oh , yes indeed. but isn't it "illegal" to operate with kerning like this ? I mean , Shouldn't spaces have the same distance?

@Ocularink: That's true , but when I designed it , I was following the same rule that Climax said a couple of thoughts above. Thanks :)

no its not illegal to mess with the kerning. You cant picture this in black and white? or are you trying to ask a question with that statement, if the latter just ask, "do you think this will work in black and white" lol man, sry but i see that statement so many times, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Kerning between rounded letters is never equal to kerning between straight letters.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. The N and I might need to be spaced out a little, though. Such a progressive candy shop!
