Colours edited to my liking. Client loves blue but I just don't think that it is a 'fire' colour.

illus is hot the font somehow doesn't do it justice though i think. or maybe its just the colors that throwing it off, you know i don't think its the font at all i think its the ampersand being so thin that is detracting from the whole thing

Thanks Climax. The & has been thickened up but has been made smaller. The client wanted to place emphasis on the words 'fire' and 'safety' so the & is smaller and in the darker colour.

I have also uploaded the progress of this logo on the link below. The original feedback was that the logo was too American so every effort was made to pull him back into line with the Australian fire service.

Beautiful, beautiful. love this mark. I agree with Climax on the type face. It does not do it justice. A quick test on any kind of identity is to just turn it all to black and white. Yeah, it's old school thinking, but consider it being photocopied or faxed. "SAFETYWA" There would have to be better way to separate the two other than color. I am a big fan of logo types and do like where the fire like tips are going in the letters "f, e, a,". Who knows, the mark is so strong, it may not need a custom type face that competes with the graphic.

Other than that, I am a big fan of your work. Inspired.
