This is very good, but it seems to me that the mark is a bit large. Nice type treatment though.

The request was for something iconic that could live with or without the type. In this composition, it could have probably stood to be a little larger in comparison.

I like it. Even though the mark alone would not evoke the "Web" part of the name, it is simple and unique and therefore memorable.
