i like where it's goin. but i think it could use work. i don't like "media" it looks like it doesn't belong. I AM a big fan of trees, but this one doesn't represent strength or stability to me. it looks kinda weak like it's a dead tree. i really love the font of massimo though. kudos there. i hope this does not offend, cause i'm no great artist that's just what the logo looks like to me.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree about the "media" bit, I was really un-decided about how to deal with it. BUT had to put it aside in favour of setting up my business and will try again at a later date. The typeface you like is called "Poetica"

I suppose trees mean different things to different people so I hope that my target audience (chch business peoples) don't feel the same way. I like the shapes and negative space. But I also like trees and natural shapes, so it really reflects me aswell.

I joined logopond because i am a web designer, on the identity side of things I am quite un-practised, so the feedback, both positve and negative is really good for me.

nice start. the tree looks a little awkward at some splits. The red made it look like a vascular system to me.

I agree with the arguements regarding the choice of font for the word 'media' and think it may work better in a light grey rather than black?

I also thought the tree stem was the vains of a leaf, particuarly inside the deep red, which in my opinion would still work.

But in all, i like this logo
