I think this seems a bit haphazard and sloppy. it doesn't inspire much confidence in the user.

I like the type, but not the mark. I feel like I've seen alot of these "multiple lines" symbols lately. And I'm rather surprised to see a textured background here; dache, I thought you were against background textures for logos here on logopond?
