The low rating doesn't do this logo justice. It's unique style stands above the masses. It's expressive, playful, beautiful. I'd like to see versions with the eyes open, but still, it's a gorgeous mark.

I am in agreement. This is one of those great examples of people just pressing buttons, I think the rating system is flawed in this sense. Thats a talented piece of artwork.

i don't mind the low rating. the client loved it and i got paid.

I love the examples in that link, it shows that a logo doesnt need to be light switched to black and white it can actually be scaled up and down with color values and still work.
