Those blend-tool leaves are straight out of a tutorial. I mean STRAIGHT out lol.

I think the type is really unique and nice, I think the y needs to be narrower <> in the bowl.

agree with logo motive, i like the type, it's strange 'n i feel it 's elegant. However, maybe, there're some problems at the blended-leaves: Two leaves are quite far to each other 'n they are not match with the type. just my feelings.

While elegant and nice-looking, this definitely is lacking something. It says nothing about the brand. Unless they maybe sell plays or... keys?

Ditto your comments Tonfue! I don't understand why it's i the gallery. I don't see anyting appealing about it. The type is somewhat OK...everything else is so ordinary. I don't get it. But then I again...I'm just a self-taught designer...perhaps there is something I should learn here?

The type is unique enough to stand on its own. A little tweaking here and there and you got yourself a great logotype. And since the "leaves" are neither unique nor original I think you should definitely omit them.

Just browsed through Thomas' gallery and found this one of the least inspired/inspiring logos. I agree with Houston-we and Tonfue.

^ What Artmachine and others have all said. In fact The icon actually ruins this logo IOP's. The type is unique and nice and as ARTmachine said could stand on it's own.

i can't keep up with all these acronym's these days! Just not in with the young kids, like Mike :P

I don't think this logo should be in the gallery as gallery entries should command some level of respect for being unique. I mean, my hanuet wine with the bottle in the negative was removed for having a resemblance to another (not that i'm bitter!!) :)

Would like to hear Thomas' thoughts :)
