Clever idea, but the tack looks awkwardly proportioned and the perspective is off. Just a thought.

Tip of tack head got slightly skewed when I scaled it down for LogoPond's format but that's easily fixable. Beyond that I don't know what you're talking about.

Perhaps a sketch to illustrate what you mean?
