i read dino, but don't see the "n"

teeps said on Feb. 26 '08

Well, thats the trick, you can read it as dino with the missing N

gypseemoth said on Feb. 26 '08

I don't read it at all. I read dido if anything

Lucidity said on Feb. 27 '08

I think you still associate it with "Dino" because the N is a dinosaur.

Hi teeps,

I have to agree that using this as a letter substitution for "n" just doesn't work. In fact, he's taking up two character positions, and people might start wondering if this is some kind of puzzle for something more obscene that goes di**o. :)

If you just put in a regular "n" and moved the character off to the left of the type I think it would be a significant improvement! I also feel like you might want to smooth the lines on the dinosaur so that he is less jagged and matches the type more closely...

yes man, they are right it actually doesnt work that way. n is missing. man im sorry to tell this, but you have to learn the difference between illustration and logo.

Three things: I think the left bottom leg is turned the wrong direction; the bottom of the dinosaur's feet should line up with the baseline of the text; and this should be a one color logo.

I read it as dino right off, so I don't see the issue with using the dinosaur as the n, it just needs to integrated better.

I don't know, actually I want to make it simple yet detailed, therefore I used some color variations, I believe this can work as a logo and yes m still working on it @ theartistt I will update the final version soon
