I like the concept but I feel that if you added a crop tool icon to the bottom right of the highlighted box and added the cropping box it would seal the deal.

The name itself conveys properly.

The concept is interesting but I'd like to see some more ideas with regards to how it's executed, seems like kind of an awkward place for the "crop" to happen in relation to the type.
