This is nice, but it looks like a tooth to me, too. I think it helps that those colors are on a lot of toothpaste packaging...

If the mattress were slightly elongated, you'd reduce the 'tooth' aspect. Shifting the blue might help too.

All that said, this also feels very 'mattressesque' so I think it's quite appropriate.
