This is a nice concept and logo. Do you think the left side of the book is too dark in value? I'm wondering if one of the colors from the right side would have been more effective? Or a gray within the same value as those colors on the right side? Even so, nice job.

the concept is great. very easy to get. however the image does look as if it were peiced together from two completly different styles.

Ocular had my exact first impression. Too much disconnect from the two sides. Color choice could fix. This could be nice. And I don't like that little square in the A. Probably because it's not centered with he mark.

I guess the student library in question (and in explanation) **must be** of Michigan State University (MSU). In that case, I say that this logo is just a refinement of an old logo in terms of color! If not... !!!
