That Exacto-Knife blade makes me cringe! Clever concept, but makes me think of slicing into a body for surgery, or slicing my finger when I used to cut my own mat-boards long, long time ago. Others may feel different.

@ alto : Dude, I nearly sliced my thumb in half cutting my own matte boards...seriously, it was just hanging there. So, I'm right there with you. This one makes me hurt all over again. :-P

Great looking logo though. I like how you mixed in the script 'h' with the sans serif font. It works.

Thank you all for the comments. ive actually sliced the tip of my finger off as well. luckily it it was just a small piece and grew back. Im working on other variations of this. I do like the typography but im working with other images to replace the blade. maybe something a little less flat.

This looks sharp. (Har har har.) No, seriously though, this looks really professional, clean and effective. The only thing I'd be cautious about is if this type of image would attract clients or scare them off.

Ha ha. It seems you haven't earned your stripes in this business unless you've sliced the tip of your finger off with a scalpel or exacto.
