I think you could achieve the same look and feel with less detail and a considerable size reduction.

The icon/image seems overpowering and almost clip-art looking. If you simplify your design and reduce your size of the racquet you can gain the full image of the racquet and retain the concept within.

It's like the Eiffel tower who's eaten to many hamburgers. I am sorry, the concept is fine, but to me it looks too much like the Eiffel tower (Paris). I was it before I saw a tennis racket.

Great concept - I immediately saw the "A" in the mark. I do agree that the racquet image could be simplified to create a stronger image.
