I like the idea of this. There is just something about the plate that bothers me (or maybe its the knife and fork..), it seems to be in a differant style as the knife and fork. The plate shows its "shadows" while the cuttelery shows the solids. See what I mean?
An interesting thing to do would be to take the general shape of the "D" in the type and have the mark have the same general layout.

@ dache: I see where you're coming from and I respect your analysis of logos here. I agree, the mark could better reflect the D of Debut but the execution of silver service on a white plate will be more difficult to address. :)
