Like some people I had no trouble reading coyote, but I was curious for this particular stylization of the word and was pleasantly surprised to find it for a DJ. Anything else would not have worked. I do feel what gabe said is correct that they are similar to the 'los logos" and "dos logos" books, but not in a way that I would be worried about.

The only critique I have is the bottom of the "y". I think the decender should look more like the top of the ascender on the "t". That might make it feel a bit more balanced, but not really a big deal.
