I really like this one, I just think that the squares on the back are out of place...the shape alone is a great mark.

Im not understanding the difference in illustration styles here. Seems as if both items were designed in seperate and then forced together to make a very unbalanced design.

I don't think it's unbalanced. More that the black is overpowering the green. Try setting the linework in a darker green than the front square.

Also, the squares have rounded edges, perhaps softening some of those sharp edges on the linework could help.
