think you should make the g bigger, it is the focal point and what makes this imo

I hear ya. I wanted to give some balance between fun (g mark) and serious (completely readable and balanced wordmark) thus enlarging g icon would emphasize "fun" aspect a bit more than i felt appropriate. Separate icon for apps should cover that i guess... but i am still waiting for response over this direction from client, will see where it ends up... cheers

I hear what you are saying, but the other letters seem large or vise versa the g just seems small in comparison tot he other letters. I know there are fonts where descenders are intentionally made smaller, but just in the eye (visual) it seems awkward.

I think in making it smaller you are actually bringing more attention to it then you think you are. If the g was the same size as the other letters then the stethoscope/magnifying glass would be a nice after effect though once someones eye settles on the logo, right now my eyes go to it immediately 'cause its like 'one of these letters is not like the others, one of these letters is doing its thing'.

The g letter is standard size for this typeface, but i dig your thoughts. Will see how it goes with the client and maybe offer them your suggestion too! Drink's on me if your suggestion turns out a decisions maker ;)
