I like the type and placement, but I don't see what the mark represents.

I can appreciate the comment but if you lived in the Southwest, you would get it. It represents the desert and elements of the desert, from red rock canyon walls, to sand and the different shades of burnt oranges and reds, to even the style of art of the ancient Anasazi people. Everyone that lives near me loves it and think it represents the Southwest perfectly.
