Description: Logo for the online show 'The Gaming Historian'. The client wanted to mix the concept of history and video games into one form. In finding iconic representations of history and video games, I came to a few conclusions. Books have been the classic vehicle in the delivery of history. In turn when I think of a representation of video games, no one example stands out greater than the NES cartridge. In the concept phase I decided to work towards melding these two distinct elements into one harmonious design. Hence the mixture of the book and the cartridge into the logo bug. Along with the logo bug is the serif text which represent scholarly endeavours.
